Rolex's Datejust 41 and Pearlmaster 39 models come equipped with their new generation movement, Calibre 3235. This movement is protected by 14 patents and features many of the watchmaker's latest tech innovations, including their blue Parachrom hairspring and Chronergy escapement.

In order for their timepieces to receive the Rolex Superlative Chronometer Certification, they must function at a precision of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing. Rolex has updated their certification requirements as recently as 2015 to ensure that all of their timepieces are worthy of their green seal.
